All EKSCARS rentals require a small set of documents at pickup. Bring the originals — a photo is not enough for police checks or insurance claims.
Age and driving licence
- Minimum age: 21 years for standard categories, 23 years for premium and 4×4 categories.
- Licence held for at least one year (two years for premium and 4×4).
- Valid national driving licence in the Latin alphabet, or accompanied by an International Driving Permit (IDP) for non-Latin licences.
- No young-driver surcharge on standard categories.
Identity documents
- Passport (non-residents) or national ID card (residents).
- Second photo ID for the additional driver, if any.
Security deposit
A refundable deposit of €300 to €800 is pre-authorised on a credit card in the main driver’s name at pickup, depending on the vehicle category. Debit cards are accepted with a signed authorisation form.
Insurance included
- Third-Party Liability (mandatory in Morocco).
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with a per-category excess.
- Theft Protection.
- Optional excess reduction and full-cover upgrades are offered at pickup or in the booking flow.
Payment options
Card, cash (MAD or EUR) or bank transfer. No hidden pickup fees, no fuel surcharge, no airport surcharge.
Additional driver
One additional driver is free. Extra additional drivers cost €5/day, up to three total.
One-way rentals
Drop-off is free between Marrakech, Casablanca, Agadir and Tangier when the rental is at least 5 days. Shorter one-way trips carry a transparent inter-city fee shown before you confirm.
